Construction Economics Australia provides consultant services specialising in Quantity Surveying, Feasibility and Cost Planning, Contract Estimating, Contracts Administration, Superintendent and Project Management Services, Claims and Dispute Management, Commercial Management and general Building and Construction advice and support to the wider building and construction industry.

Our business operates from the Fraser Coast of Queensland Australia servicing the local, domestic Queensland and National building and construction market. CE Australia also has the experience, resources and capability to provide international support remotely to businesses operating in the South Pacific Region.

Our company is licenced by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and our director, Kip Kirkland, is a corporate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Kip Kirkland is a tertiary qualified and formally trained construction professional, Chartered QS (MRICS) and Certified QS (MAIQS, CQS) with over 25 years building and construction industry experience working in Scotland, New Zealand and, for the last 17 years, in Australia and PNG. Most of our professional experience has been gained working on large construction and infrastructure projects and complex programs of works.

His diverse professional experience and ongoing development enables him to focus on big picture outcomes, manage risk within challenging contracting environments and work in highly functioning teams and autonomously to manage and deliver successful outcomes. With strong commercial acumen Kip has extensive experience in quantity surveying, project management, commercial, contracts and cost management, complex procurement, revenue and claims management, cost planning and estimating, and project planning and scheduling. Kip’s strengths enable him to quickly analyse, assess and adapt to new and changing situations, and to confidently take on difficult assignments working through problems and challenges to strategize, implement, manage, and deliver successful commercial outcomes.
